Crowds of people gathered to catch a glimpse of the city illuminating the dark winter skies and enjoy a day of entertainment.
The Great Skipton Santa Fun Run has made its long-awaited return, with red and white covered runners taking to the streets.
Visitors enjoyed festive food and drinks, seasonal songs and live music, artisan food stalls and more.
