A goal from George Brown and behind Omar Sanyan, he Pickered three points against playoff resident Sackley. That means the Pikes gap to the top five narrowed to just six points.
Last weekend they demolished North Yorkshire rival Tadcaster Albion 5-0 and gave up a 3-0 victory in both Campion and Rossington Main, making it five to four wins on Tony Hackworth's side .
Hackworth admits that after their efforts he is “prideful” his players and that he is beginning to see real confidence in his entire team.
The Pickering boss told Club Media: “It was a great performance, and we are proud of them as their punches, as you can imagine, which is a difficult place to come, as shown in the league.
“We were confident in the pace we have throughout the side, which is another clean sheet we do regularly now, and that's our class.
“We can play better with certain spells in the game, and that's what we said there, but once again we're really proud.
“We've just come back to our play, and this is a difficult place to go, but the young people are full of confidence.
“Our second goal is how the team's pace and finish broke, the sense of unity there is huge.
“They're all together and they're all fighting for each other, so we're moving to Eccles Hill mid-week. This is another tough thing.”
One man who stood out again after recently discovering an impressive form is the man of goalkeeper Alfie Burnett, who admitted two goals in his final five, and held four clean sheets at the time. I was doing it.
Assistant Manager Joe Connor was filled with praise for Shot Stop, adding:
“We then went down the pitch and scored, and he played all of that game for us.
“He's getting better and better. He'll say for himself that the season has started late, but since December he's definitely stand out.
“When he's in that form, he's the best keeper in the league and that's what we wanted him to be.
“After the finish line, you can see it from the young people.
“He's well thought out there, so I'm really happy with him.”
Burnett was involved early as Anthony Brown found him 1-1, but Pickering's goalkeeper responded well to attempts from the striker and pushed his efforts away.
Slater Burns was quickly locked out before George Brown found the back of the tackley net, but it was not only allowed to be suspected of the ball having finished the play.
Finn Donovan was rejected by Burnett, but his efforts sparked the town with a halftime brink opener.
After George Brown defeated the offside trap, the striker skillfully finished over Luke Wilson, defeating the deadlock.
Ben Gretch Brooksbank has once again stopped the strike by Burnett before Joe Wood identified Ethan Cachasa in the area and rushed ahead.
Matt Dempsey had the headers that Burnett held, but Wilson brilliantly denied Jordan Hines, who both goalkeepers had now shown form.
With time running out, Caciosa's extra pace made a difference before he sprinted through the entire length of the pitch and squared Sanyan past the helpless Wilson.
Pickering works the following night when traveling to Ecrusil United (7:45pm).
