A night of adrenaline and inspiration: Brit Rock Film 2024 will be held on Friday 30th November, hosted by Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team (SRMRT).
The event will screen a number of climbing and adventure films (including The Nose Job, Climbing Blind II and Freya's Back) and raise funds for SRMRT.
Tickets cost £11 and the evening starts at 7.30pm with refreshments starting at 6.30pm.

A screening of the American comedy-drama film Thelma will be held at Pop-up Cinema Yorkshire on Wednesday 4th December.
Movies will be shown at 2:30pm and 7:30pm, with doors opening one hour before each screening.
Tickets are £7.50 and concessions are £6.
The next day, Thursday December 5th, there will be a Christmas singalong with Thornton Le Dale Ukulele from 7:30pm.
Tickets for the Christmas Singalong are not available at the Kirk Theater but can be purchased from: Wardill Brothers (The Square, Thornton-le-Dale), TV House (19 Market Place, Pickering), and Massers Camera Shop (30 ) Wheelgate, Malton).
Funds raised will be donated to Samaritans of Scarborough.
On Friday, Dec. 6, the theater will present “A Christmas Carol,” adapted and directed by Nick Heneghan with original music by Rob Williams.
Starring Olivier Award winner Guy Masterson (Under Milk Wood, Animal Farm, Shylock), the performance begins at 7:30 p.m.

Finally, on Friday 13th December there will be a Ryedale School Music Concert, sponsored by Pickering & District Rotary Club and Ryedale School Performing Arts.
The concert will feature performances by Ryedale Concert Band, Shining Brass and Ryedale Stray Notes.
Doors open at 6pm and the show starts at 7pm.
Tickets cost £9, or £6 for full-time education students, with all proceeds going to Ryedale School and Rotary.
