The amnesty targeting Turkish Top Vent Blank Fire (TVBFS) starts today (Monday, February 3) and ends on Friday, February 28.
The firearms are the Turkish brand Let, Ecol, Seonic, and Blow.
After the pardon period, anyone who was discovered on such a TVBF would be charged and may be imprisoned for up to 10 years.
The original state has a completely blocked barrel and is designed to discharge only a blank cartridge.
When discharged, the combustion gas will ventilate from the top of the weapon.
Tvbf is sold by painting at least 50 % of the visible surface painting bright colors.
The criminals can paint them black, so they look like a weapon of the original deadly purpose and convert to a fatal purpose firearm.
A test by police provided by the National Criminal Agency (NCA) and the home office indicates that the models created by the four Turkish brands can be easily converted and thus they are illegal.
Although the firearm law has not been changed, the NCA test “proves that it can be easily converted using a general home tool, and some of the people who perform conversion are part of the person who performs the conversion. It is illegal to prove that it can be easily converted. ”
During the pardon period, those who hand over Turkey's manufactured TVBF do not face the lawsuit against illegal ownership and do not need to give their details.
However, the history of handed living firearms is checked for evidence of crime.
Call the phone 101 before traveling to receive advice on the best way to transport weapons by responsibility to the police station.
