West Yorkshire Police first launched an appeal for information last Thursday following reports of a sexual assault against a woman.
This happened on Gaythorn Road/Tichborne Road in Bradford's West Bowling area at around 11am last Wednesday.
On Sunday, the force filed a new appeal.
However, a man was arrested in connection with the investigation.
He remains in custody.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Officers would like to thank the local community and members of the public for their assistance with this ongoing investigation.”
