At some point on Sunday (December 29) there was a break-in at a property in Dane Hill Drive, Holme Wood.
Water and electricity to the property were shut off and copper piping was removed from the water tank, according to a police report.
The building's laminate flooring was also damaged.
Police said the suspects were disturbed by neighbors.
Copper piping and four chocolate selection boxes were recovered from the scene.
Anyone with CCTV or doorbell footage should contact Bradford South Neighborhood Policing Team by emailing bradfordsouthnt@westyorkshirepolice.co.uk. Police also reported a break-in at a home on Kenley Avenue in Wibsey sometime between December 27 and 28.
Police learned that they had entered through the locked front door and searched the house.
Police said it is unclear at this stage whether anything was stolen.
