As part of Operation Trimburg, officers issued 28 tickets and impounded two vehicles over two days.
Police cracked down on violations such as careless driving, driving while using a cell phone, failure to collect road tax, and speeding.
Councilor Matt Edwards is the leader of Bradford City Council's Green Party group and also serves as councilor for the Ton Ward.
He said: “Residents in the borough have told us they want action to be taken to make our roads safer and this is something we regularly raise with both police and highways teams. .”
“We welcome this latest operation for local police teams to tackle driving crime and know that further operations are planned.”
