Officers of the West Yorkshire Police pilot team encountered Toyota on Bingley Road, Shipley.
A team spokesman said:
“The vehicle was seized and the driver was reported to the court.”
It is illegal to drive a vehicle on the road without insurance.
Penalties can include significant fines, licence points, and even driving disqualification.
Operation Steeride was founded in 2016, two months after Telegraph & Argus launched its “Stop Danger Drivers” campaign.
Three years later, a dedicated team was established to tackle crime on our roads.
People can email bd.steeride@westeorkshire.pnn.police.uk to report information to their teams.
