Police were called just before 4pm yesterday (Thursday) to reports that a man had been assaulted on the street in Undercliffe.
Shortly after, police were alerted to a collision between a Mitsubishi Shogun and an Audi RS6 at the intersection of Dudley Hill Road and Harrogate Road.
Reports on social media suggest that the stationary vehicle was “hit” by another vehicle.
One local resident said the car crashed just outside the tattoo parlor on Dudley Hill Road, at the intersection of Harrogate Road.
Bradford CID is investigating and treating this incident as a targeted attack.
No one was injured, but the victim was protected.
In a full statement, a spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: “Police are investigating after reports that a man was assaulted on the Charnwood Grove/Harrogate Road road in Bradford.”
“At 3:49pm yesterday (January 9th), officers were called to a report of an assault with a weapon.
“No injuries were reported.
“A short time later we received another call reporting an RTC between a Mitsubishi Shogun and an Audi RS6 at the junction of Dudley Hill Road and Harrogate Road.
“Bradford CID is investigating and treating this incident as a targeted attack.
“The victim was protected.
“Anyone who witnessed either incident should call police on 101 or use the live chat option at westyorkshire.police.uk/livechat quoting log number 1026 of 9 January You will be asked to do so.

One resident, who did not wish to be named, told the Telegraph & Argus: “I was at home and didn’t hear anything. I was sitting and watching TV.
“But it’s scary.
“I went out last night and came back to find the Dudley Hill Road intersection blocked off.
“There were two police cars there.”
