I am saddened by the fact that Bradford Civic Association is now knocking on Bradford. There are some great modern sculptures in the center. I think “Baby of the North” is great. The same goes for Manor Law's giant needle. The stone sculptures in Centenary Square outside Wetherspoons will delight children as they climb on top of them.
Where will the Salt Statue be placed? While they're at it, why not move the Peel Statue back from Peel Park to the center?
It's a shame that Tower of Now will only remain in Bradford for a year. I hope you find a permanent home. looking forward to it.
I have lived in Bradford all my life and this center is always changing and I hope it will continue to change and improve. Once the pedestrian area is complete, it will be great to be able to walk down the street without having to deal with traffic.
Bradford has a population of about 340,000 people, but 76 people, or about 0.02%, want the Salt statue returned to the center. It's no big deal.
Perhaps Bradford Civic Association wants to return Bradford to its 19th century state of poverty, squalor and poor health.
