Of course, you can only apply if you have Irish parents or grandparents. Most readers probably don't. We are still stuck with the black/blue UK passports that we didn't have the travel or work privileges we had while we were in the European Union.

This labour government has no plans to return what Tories took, which has made it even more infuriating. At least our MPs will have the opportunity to debate whether they should probably rejoin the EU soon. The petition on the Congress website bit.ly/rejoinpetit has received sufficient support to consider adequate support for such discussions.
