Brian Zaxton is now on the scale for over a month.
North Yorkshire Police said the 48-year-old was being asked to recall to prison.
He has links to the Richmondshire and Hambleton areas of North Yorkshire, and the Whitton Park and Ferry Hill areas of Durham.
“We are actively working to find him and are urgently appealing for information and sightings that will help us track him,” a police spokesman said.
“Even the smallest details can be important, and your support can make all the difference.
“If you have the information, I recommend coming forward and leading this issue to resolve.”
The unit said a reward of up to £1,000 is available from Crimestoppers for information that leads to TheXton's arrest.
