Ryedale Special Families (RSF) has launched a Christmas and New Year fundraising raffle that will reward one lucky winner with a meal for two each month at 12 of the area's most popular eateries in 2025.
The prize, entitled 'Win a prize of the year with a monthly culinary adventure', is worth over £1,000 and will be won by Talbot, Malton, Dewar's, Kirby Miss Parton, Abbey Inn, Byland, Fat Badger, York, The Pheasant and Halome. , Pignat, and Helmsley appear. , Saltmoor, Whitby, White Swan, Pickering, The Star Inn, Harome, Farriers, Caton of Whitby, The Tiger Inn, Coneythorpe, Sneaton Castle.
Additionally, there are four runner-up prizes including handmade chocolates from Birdgate Chocolatier, a bouquet of flowers from Dale's Florist, a Groovy Moo gelato coupon and a bottle of champagne.
The draw will be held by Pickering Town Mayor Emma Duplin on Friday, January 10 at the White Swan.
RSF is currently based in Old Malton and provides support to 400 families across North Yorkshire.
The charity is set to move into a new home in Pickering that is fully accessible and has facilities and sensory spaces designed specifically for young people with disabilities.
The new building will house a range of activities including group sessions and individual support, as well as activities for young people with disabilities in the charity's Ryedale Supported Futures programme.
The new building will be fully accessible with sensory spaces and cozy areas for parents and carers to gather, with ample parking and will also include an outdoor area for socializing.
