North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to reports of the River Esk flooding in Danby and Lilleholm and a person trapped in a flooded vehicle in Castleton.
Flood warnings remain in place across North Yorkshire and a yellow wind warning remains in place across Yorkshire until 6pm GMT on Sunday.
At Castleton, its height was 2.86 meters (9 feet 4 inches). If the depth exceeds 2.50m, there is a possibility of flooding within the premises.

Wind gusts of more than 50mph (80km/h) were recorded in Topcliff and Leeming, near Ripon, on Saturday afternoon, with many routes affected.
Cross-country trains running through Sheffield and Leeds were delayed for more than an hour on Saturday due to speed limits on the line. LNER flights to London were also affected.
