The Underground has brought live music to what was once a former gas production in the sky since 2016.
Now, as Bradford is in the spotlight as a British cultural city, venues sold out the first of four BBCs to showcase the gig on Friday.
Admt, Kenzo Jae and Sinead Campbell have launched four sessions of music discovery where unsigned and emerging artists have the opportunity to win microphones.

Gale, who previously managed the band, said:
The vision was to support local musicians and help them flourish. It came a long time later. I was one of Nigel's business partners. It has grown over the years. They had a great event.
“It all starts with a grassroots venue and uploads music to the BBC introduction, you can't simply release a single and play the venue.

“I actually came from a completely different background. I've always worked in bars and around. Music wasn't necessarily what I did. I worked in finance and thought that was my career. Then I opened a music venue with my partner at that point and left the job. It started snowballing.”

“Every thread in your life has a cultural element, which is a truly important element of everyday life.
“Some people underestimate the amount of culture in your life. Taking this opportunity and creating a real legacy for Bradford is something many people are trying to do. So, when it appears late at night on December 31st and enters 2026, it's not something you'll ever forget.”
