North Yorkshire Police carried out a warrant search in the early hours of this morning (December 5). A large amount of cash was also found after officers entered the property in Fosway, York.
A 40-year-old man from York, an 18-year-old woman from Leeds and a 16-year-old man from Leeds were arrested in connection with the incident.
The force said they are currently in custody pending further investigations.
A force spokesperson said: “These drugs are believed to be class A and class B substances and will be sent for analysis as part of the investigation.”
Sergeant Stuart Henderson, from York Outer Neighborhoods Policing Team, said: “As this warrant operation shows, we work day and night to combat drug and weapons offenders and keep our communities safe. There is,” he added.
“That work is paying off. Over the past six months, crime in North Yorkshire has fallen by 4.6 per cent overall and serious violent crime has fallen by almost 6 per cent. There has also been an increase in arrests. .”
“We are here for our residents and we are on their side. And we are working round the clock to make North Yorkshire a no-go zone for criminals.”
This warrant was planned and executed by a number of teams, including the Firearms Support Unit and York Neighborhood Policing Team.
