Three-time finalist at the Carville Folk Festival and winner of the Texas Wildflower Contest, the Tooang Town Paramars will play at the Black Dyke Mills Heritage venue in Queensbury on Saturday, May 10th.
The soulful folk duo consisting of Marybeth Zamer and Mike T. Lewis stated:
“That's something we've wanted to do for many years.
“I can't wait to perform at the fantastic venue that has been booked, especially after receiving very generous reviews in the UK for the last two albums.”
Lead singer Mary Beth Zamer sang Eva Cassidy's background vocals.
Writer, producer and guitar player Mike T-Lewis is the author of Korea's No. 1 Platinum Cellar Hit and plays Jimmy Dale Gilmore's upright bass.
The duo's latest album, The Wind Will Change, was their first folk album in 12 years, and was released in January.
It reached number one on the Folk Alliance International Chart that month.
The duo plays at 7:30pm in the evening, with tickets being £13 in advance and £15 at the door.
