Keagan Halloway, 19, of Eva Avenue, Rawcliffe, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a sample of breath during suspected drunk driving in Leeds. He was given an eight-week curfew in the court of the Leeds Magistrate, banned from driving for 16 months and ordered to pay a prosecutor's fee of £85 and a statutory surcharge of £114.
Stephen Bucan, 44, of Ashton Avenue, Clifton, was banned from driving for six months in Bradford Magistrate's Court after pleading guilty to driving at 57 mph on a 50 mph stretch on an M1 near Leeds. He was fined £307 and ordered to pay prosecutors' fees of £110 and a statutory surcharge of £123.
The two defendants did not respond to court summons and were found guilty of their absence.
Blue Flame Heating and Plumbing Ltd, Woodville Terrace, Selby, was found guilty in the Boston Magistrates' court for failing to tell police driving a Mercedes in Lincolnshire when they allegedly committed a traffic violation. He was fined £1,000 and ordered to pay a statutory surcharge of £400 and a prosecutor's fee of £110.
William Fitch, 50, of Dejworth Avenue off Malton Road in York, was found guilty in Magistrate Bradford's court for failing to tell police who was driving the car while allegedly speeding up at the M1 near Wakefield. He was fined £660, ordered to pay a statutory surcharge of £264 and a prosecutor's fee of £110, and six penalty points were awarded.
