From reproductive rights to climate change to big technology, the independence is on the ground when stories develop. Whether you're investigating the financials of Elon Musk's Pro-Trump PAC, or creating the latest documentary, “The A Word,” that sheds light on American women fighting for reproductive rights, you can just say the facts. I know how important it is to analyze. Messaging.
At such a crucial moment in American history, we need a reporter on the ground. Your donation allows us to send journalists to continue talking to both sides of the story.

Ice and snow yellow weather warnings were issued in parts of the UK this weekend.
Forecasters said Yorkshire and Humber, northwest England and northeastern England will be affected from 6am to 2pm on Saturday.
A spokesman for Met Office said: “Rain, sleet and snow are likely to occur early Saturday before mitigating from the west in the afternoon.
“Snow is likely particularly from the east of Pennine, which is over 150 metres long, with 2-5cm of centimeters likely to accumulate in the marsh and Northumberland of North York.
“There's also the risk of ice above the pennine, especially over 200 metres of freezing rain.”

Freezing rain – commonly known as ice storms in North America – is not often seen in the UK because the conditions required are so specific.
It is rainfall that fell from the sky and became “super cooled” as it moved through various temperatures in the atmosphere.
It starts to sleet and rise in the atmosphere, but as it descends, it melts from the layer of warm air and freezes again from the layer of cold air near the surface.
The Met Office warned that winter weather could cause traffic delays and make driving “dangerous.”
It urged people to drive first and check for road closures before they left. Pedestrians are urged to try and use pavement along major roads to avoid slipping.

Freezing rain has been seen over the next few days as high pressures to the north and east of the country continue to bring clouds and cold air.
It produces a notable effect, and forms when the rain instantly spreads across the surface before it freezes and then freezes the surface with a layer of clear ice.
According to Met Office, ice weight is heavy enough to lower trees and power lines, and ground ice aze drugs effectively turn roads and paths into ice links.
It also proves extremely dangerous to the aircraft as icicles can form throughout the plane's wings.
Ice is very clear and is often called black ice. This is because it is extremely difficult to see and is dangerous for pedestrians and drivers.
