A dark blue 21-plate VW Tiguan was stolen from a house in Apsley Street, Oakworth, between 2.39am and 6am on Thursday.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “The suspects entered the house through the back door and proceeded to the front door.
“They then took the house and car keys from the front door lock and fled in the victim's car.”
A spokesperson said: 'Please be careful not to leave your house or car keys in the door lock.
“This makes it very easy for thieves.
“Please leave your keys out of sight.”
