Westgate, located at the corner of Westgate and Union Street in Halifax, closed its doors seven years ago, but is now once again welcoming the public under new operator Brett Watson Davies.
Growing up at Raven's Thorpe in Dewsbury, Brett runs the pub on behalf of the Heineken-owned Star Pub.
To use one of the many events, including music gigs featuring Extreme and Bradford-born Terrorism in August, people can enjoy Tipple in advance at the newly renovated pub.
Westgate is just outside the entrance to the live music venue and is completely internally transformed thanks to an investment of £350,000.
The building was originally two houses with woven wings, and at one stage it became two separate pubs before it merged with the former City Hall tavern in the 1960s.
Revamp also produced six new jobs.
A wide range of activities will add to the friendly atmosphere, including live acoustic music, quizzes, sports screenings and events themed on major occasions.
Planning for the opening month includes St. Patrick's Day and Mother's Day activities, in addition to screenings of the Six Nations and Cheltenham Gold Cup.

Westgate will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11am to 11pm and Friday and Saturday from 11am to 1am.
