Seb Gaspar-Dunn, who lives in Whixley, who played both fly half and center, scored one try and kicked two conversions as the Yorkshire Rugby Academy team turned the Harlekins over in a thrilling 32-19 victory.
Starting playing at just six years old, Seb is currently a member of the Harrogate Rufc Under-16 Squad and has been selected to represent the academy side at the county level after performing well on the Yorkshire Development Player Pathway.
Yorkshire Rugby Academy takes pride in giving young players a route to professional rugby careers.
A team of four traveled to Loughborough University for a Harlekins match play at Harrogate RUFC.
Last summer, 16-year-old SEB supported the Mammoth Funding Campaign for Motor Neuron Disease after Godfather Ian Flat was diagnosed with illness.
Dedicated to the challenge with the Duke of Edinburgh award, they gathered thousands of people to build the Rob Barrow Centre for Leeds Hospital's charity appeal.
Cebu, a student at Asheville in Harrogate, said: “It was a real honor to be selected for the Yorkshire Rugby Academy.
“From a personal perspective, it was also special that I was able to help my team by getting a try and kicking two conversions.”
Cebu's dad Paul added: “Cebu has been playing rugby since he was six years old and has cultivated his skills and love for the game thanks to the incredible support he has given him by Harrogate RUFC and the school coach.
