Di Gomery created the art currently on display in one of York Hospital's main corridors. She hopes that the painting will boost the spirits of those passing by.
The artwork is inspired by DI's sketchbooks, including a series of works created daily between December 2024 and February 2025, to celebrate the lives of our dear friends who have passed away.

“I really hope these paintings are a flowing, fun, wall of energy that will walk in a critical way with the audience for a while.”
