The York International Shakespeare Festival will run from Tuesday, April 22nd to Sunday, May 4th.
You will see performers from all over the world gathering to celebrate playwrights.
Audiences can enjoy a rehearsed reading of translations, including a complete gradual production, several world premieres – academic discussions, art exhibitions, children's shows, comedies.
They can also join the Tudor dance together and attend a party for Shakespeare's birthday.
Support for displaced people is an important theme, especially for the festival, which has built strong connections with Ukrainian artists.
There is a new play by Ukrainian writer Olga Annenko, and a reading from another world premiere, Codename Othello.
The Ukrainian theatre group D: Space in York, will showcase production. There are no clocks in the forest.

The main festival venues are 41 Theatres at York St. John University and Mongate.
Festival Director Philip Parr said:
“We look forward to sharing the best and most exciting things in Shakespeare's world from even further afield with our city audience. Come on!”
